Code First: Girls
I have taken the lead on the majority of the content within and surrounding the app. I create content for new and existing neighbourhoods, review each of the selected places in the neighbourhood and other external content, such as writing press releases and marketing materials.
I have created and enacted a content marketing strategy to expand our audience, promote the app and increase downloads.
I use data to create a social media strategy that grows our following and encourages downloads. I have more than doubled our social media following & increased our engagement rate.
I rewrite all of the homepage copy in order to better inform and convert potential customers
I created drip-marketing emails that educate customers about the product and encouraged them to buy
I created & managed a student brand manager programme, that hired 5 students across the country. I came up with novel ways to engage with students, at events and online, through social media and societies.
I single-handedly managed our Freshers Fairs campaign. This involved ordering stock from suppliers, organising stalls at 9 separate universities, & managing my team to cover all events. We successfully signed over 450 students onto our mailing list as a result of this campaign.
Growing our presence on all platforms, I tripled our twitter following. I also created & enacted a content strategy: you can read the content I wrote here. We won Innovate Finance’s People’s Choice at their Diversity Challenge Awards 2015.
I made, and maintained, contact with organisations (i.e. access to uni charities), universities and other educational establishments in our ecosystem that could benefit from offering EdAid to their students. I also created a university directory for the website.
I enacted a new community curation process: creating a database to track all applications, whilst also organising meetings, interviews and finalising contracts. . I designed a CRM system to maintain the details of all applicants and 170+ members.
I designed and analysed Level39’s first ever membership survey, ensuring the Level39 retains its reputation as the FinTech capital of Europe.
I organised a supporting curriculum of 6+ hours p/week of mentoring and seminars for startups, would sent out a weekly newsletter to thousands of subscribers, and assisted with all manner of day-to-day inquiries from members.
I provided support for events; leading delegation tours, helping host and organise a variety of external events. I organised our presence at Internet World 2014, in which we delivered over 20 hours of mentorship to the public and startups.
Code First: Girls
As a member of the management team, I lead the digital marketing strategy and social media presence of Code First: Girls. I formalised our social media strategy, and doubled our following.
I co-organised a 100+ attendee conference and hackathon weekend. Solo, I live-tweeted the conference to the disbelief of many of the attendees.
I designed a participant feedback survey, and then analysed the feedback data to improve the course. CF:G now regularly wins awards for the work they are doing to encourage more women into technology.
As an Artificial Intelligence Developer, I taught the proprietary system to understand the customer questions it was asked, and how to answer questions.
Live projects included: BMW i and Panasonic.
I would research clients, and their customers, to understand the questions people would ask, and the answers they wanted to receive. I wrote some of these answers for the system.
Test projects included: a global laundry detergent and a global condiments brand.
I would collect and input the data and analyse it in order to see how customers were reacting to the system, and where we could improve
